Sometimes.. We miss good ole CT
Traveling through europe is exciting. We love seeing the different sights, experience new things on a daily basis and spending time together in different places. Even though many people only dream of traveling throughout Europe… we too get homesick. Our tight-knit group of friends grew up in a little state outside of NYC called Connecticut.
Here’s a quick travel guide to our hometown of Connecticut:
Sights & Sounds from Connecticut
One thing that never gets old is the sound of kids playing. There are many early morning risers throughout CT and even more families. In fact, many NYC bound commuters raise their families in Lower Connecticut. CT is very family oriented and many people live their whole lives in the beautiful constitution state.
There are other perks to CT that may not be as transparent as you might think. One thing for sure is the seasons. We have four full seasons in CT unlike much of the European countries that we travel to. In europe there aren’t that many seasonal places. In fact in some of the most beautiful countries there is a lot of rain.
Ireland is a great example! Ireland is a beautiful country with some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The cops don’t even carry guns in Ireland. The bar scene is incredible and they’ve got the sights to die for. My favorite part of Ireland is the Cliffs of Moher. It’s an amazing sight. These giant cliffs with luscious green grass as far as the eye can see. It’s out of this world how beautiful this sight is. If I’m not mistaken it’s one of the 7 wonders of world.
The problem with Ireland is that it rains ALL THE TIME! By all the time… I mean ALL THE DAMN TIME. It’s constantly raining in Ireland. I think that’s why people drink so much. Dublin is constantly overcast and umbrellas are carried at all times. That’s a bummer! I guess that’s why the grass is so green!
Connecticut on the other hand has it’s fair share of rainy days, but for the most part it is beautiful. Many New Yorkers buy their homes in Lower Fairfield County to enjoy such beauty.
We both have something in common… We love Connecticut. We’ll we’ve got to hit the road we’re actually heading over to London to meet up with some other friends. Hope you enjoyed reading!
